Orlando Transportation, Universals Volcano Bay & Lowes Sapphire Resort

In News by D S

Universal Orlando is one adventure stop, you can’t miss, with all new adventures, classic rides, and all-time favorite thrills there is no other vacation like it. Now there is more to Universal than ever before with three theme parks, resorts, and night life.

Universal’s Volcano Bay

The newest adventure is Universal’s Volcano Bay, it is not just a water park, but a Water Theme Park full of one of a kind rides and technology. It has four themed areas for all ages, the Krakatau Volcano, Wave Village, Rainforest Village, and River Village.

The main stage of the whole park is the Krakatau Volcano, it stands two hundred feet above the park and can be seen from all around. It is the starting point of four different slides, Kala and Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides, Punga Racers, Krakatau Aqua Coaster, and Ko’kiri Body Plunge. The Krakatau Aqua Coaster is the Park’s signature ride featuring amazing technology. Guests will board a four person canoe uphill and race through dark twists and turns inside the Volcano. The ride uses linear induction motor technology-magnets to “pull” your canoe up the slide. It is the first of its kind in Florida.

Another one of a kind technology at work is the Tapu Tapu, it allows guests to reserve ride times at select attractions. Set your reservation and forget waiting in line as you enjoy your time at another attraction. The Tapu Tapu will alert you when it is time to head towards the ride.

Spend more time playing and splashing and less time waiting in lines. The wearable devices also allow guests to unlock interactive features, such as water cannons and reveal images inside Krakatau’s hidden caves.

During the day steaming waterfalls flow from the Volcano and at night fiery lava effects take over. The experience of this park continues after the sun goes down. Most water parks close at 5, but this is not your average water park. Volcano Bay has later closing times giving you the freedom to take a break, park hop, or more water fun. The possibilities are endless with three amazing parks, spend your day at Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, or Volcano Bay. The newest addition to the Universal Family opens May 25, 2017.
