Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida has added another outstanding festival to it’s list of already impressive festivals and celebrations. The International Festival of the Arts takes place at Epcot, where the whole world is a stage bursting with exciting colors, music, and food.
It is the absolute best in cultural celebrations and takes place weekends January 13 through February 20 , 2017, throughout the World Showcase.
Admission to the event is included with the price of daily admission to the park. Food, art, culture, and entertainment have merged into one brand new adventure.

There are tons of photo ops with beloved Disney characters and some that put you into famous works of arts, letting you become one with the art. Living statues might take you by surprise as you wander by.
Join Figment the lovable dragon in Figment’s Brush with the Master’s Scavenger Hunt. Make your way around the World Showcase searching for Figment hiding in the works of art. The Mona Lisa looks a little different after Figment has added his own touch on it. Purchase maps at multiple locations and when you finish return to claim your prize. Guests of all ages will enjoy exploring each country as they look for that silly dragon.
Head over to the American Garden Theatre and enjoy songs from award winning Disney on Broadway musicals like Aladdin, Newsies, and The Lion King to name a few. This show has multiple performances throughout the day. It also showcases different artists and performers through out the event on select weekends. Catch Broadway performances in this open air theater in the America section of the World Showcase.
January 13 through 16 and 20 through 23 Ashley Brown and Josh Strickland perform songs from Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, Frozen, Tarzan, and the Little Mermaid. Then January 27 through 30 and February 3 through 6 Kerry Butler and Kevin Massey perform songs from Aladdin, Tarzan, Newsies, and Beauty and the Beasts. February 10 through 13 and the 17 through 20 Kissy Simmons and Alton Fitzgerald White sing songs from Aladdin, Aida, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid.
