It’s that time of year again the time to put on your dancing shoes and enjoy the biggest party of the year at Universal’s Mardi Gras. Enjoy it all from music, entertainment, thrill rides, and delicious cuisine. Fill the days with fun in the sun and the evenings listening to music and taking in the sights. It’s all here in Orlando, Florida one of the happiest places on earth. The party takes place nightly from February 4 through March 25 2017.
Evenings are filled with colorful floats and flying beads. The whole family will be happy catching beads as they are thrown from passing floats. Stilt walkers, street performers, dancers, and dazzling floats make their way through the park for all to see.
Six new floats have been added to the 2017 parade, they are all based off mythical creatures. Manticore’s Majesty, The Rise of the Garuda, The Dance of the Dragon, Phoenix from the Flames, Garden Sprites, and The Flight of the Pegasus will all be making their debut this Mardi Gras!
The parade takes place nightly for fifty nights during Mardi Gras. Be sure to check the times as they vary on select nights from 5:00, 6:45, 7:15, and 7:45.
Don’t miss a minute of the entertainment, on select nights catch some of the biggest names in pop, country, rock, R&B, and more. It all takes place on the Music Plaza Stage.

There will also be authentic New Orleans Brass Bands from Louisiana playing throughout the evenings during the event. Tap your toes as bands like Young Pinstripe Brass Band, New Breed Brass Band, Free Agents Brass Band, Naughty Professor Brass Band, and Dirty Bourbon River Show.

New to this year bands will perform right on the street of the French Quarter instead of on stage. This will create a more New Orleans style environment and put you right in the heart of the entertainment.
