Guests will have to be brave when they visit one of the most anticipated events of the season, Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resorts. Those brave enough to enter the park will find themselves surrounded by ghoulish monsters and all the things that go bump in the night. There are Haunted Houses, Scare Zones and live entertainment. Back by popular demand the Stranger Things house is sure to have you shivering in fear as your find yourself in the world of the Upside Down. Movies are the inspiration for a few of this year’s houses with the haunted house US based on Jordan Peele’s movie. Then there is the Ghostbusters house straight from the original film. Rob Zombies horror film comes to life in House of 1000 Corpses.
Frankenstein, Dracula and the Wolfman join to terrify and rip guests apart in the Universal Monsters house. The Killer Klowns from Outer Space are back this time in a haunted house that will not leave you laughing. Other houses include Depths of Fear, Graveyard Games, Nightingales Blood Pit and Yeti Terror of the Yukon.
Scare Zones Walking through Universal Studios is not your usual walk in the park with Scare Zones around the corner guests should beware. This year’s Scare Zones include Zombieland Double Tap, Rob Zombie the Hellbilly Deluxe, Anarch-cade, Vanity Ball and Vikings Undead.
In addition, to the event’s special attractions many of the park’s rides will be open for guest to ride.
Universal Orlando isn’t the only one with a darker side. Visit Islands of Adventure to see the newest show at Hogwarts castle. Witness a new magical display projected on the Hogwarts Castle in Hogsmeade with Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle. The show takes place on select nights through November 15 and features an ominous spectacle of lights, music, special effects and magic of course. Images of the darker side of the wizarding world will light up the castle. Be careful you might run into a Death Eater on your way through Hogsmeade.
