Getting anywhere in the Orlando area can be frustrating. Options include unpredictable rideshare services, shuttles that are over crowded, and luxury car services. The one you choose affects your overall experience, your timing, comfort, safety, and peace of mind.
Which transportation should you choose? Here is a breakdown of each one and which is the most popular.
Shared Shuttle Services
- Known for being affordable and convenient, shared shuttle services are on a fixed schedule. They typically have several stops, the airport, resorts, theme parks, and hotels. Unfortunately, this can end up taking a significant amount of time out of your day.
- Shuttle services also experience long delays, due to waiting for passengers getting on board and others getting off. Managing luggage, tight spaces, stressed out passengers, then add in distance you have to walk to get to your final destination, it can be too much!
Rideshare Services
- Rideshare apps are popular nowadays (Lyft and Uber). They may seem like a convenient way to travel in the Orlando area, and easy enough to book through an app. The reality is, inconsistent transportation often leads to disappointment.
- From unknown type vehicles and drivers, you don’t know if they are reliable, licensed, responsible, or bonded. Will there be enough room for all your passengers and luggage? During peak travel times, you can end up waiting for a long time and the unexpected price surge during peak travel times may come as a big surprise.
