Disney’s newest Pirates of the Caribbean movie is set to dock in theaters this month and Walt Disney Resort is now offering the chance to have your own pirate adventures from joining in the fun at Pirates and Pals Fireworks voyage, become a pirate with The Pirates League, or journey through the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at come face to face with Capitan Jack Sparrow.
There is no other place to celebrate the Pirate Life then at Walt Disney World Resorts in Orlando, Florida. Embark on a journey through the Seven Seas Lagoon with the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. The adventure starts at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the whole crew will be treated to a feast of seafaring party snacks. Indulge on popcorn, ice cream, hot and cold beverages like lemonade and Pirate Punch. Then meet Captain Hook and Mr. Smee before setting sail.
Join in the pirate parade to the dock, then join the pirate Patch your captain for the event. Test your knowledge of Disney trivia, sing sea chanteys and brush up on nautical facts. Drop anchor and watch Wishes the Magic Kingdoms Nighttime Spectacular that takes place over Cinderella Castle.
After the show Hoist the sails and begin the trip home. Stay alert pirates always have a few tricks up their sleeves. On the journey Patch tells rousing stories of Captain Hooks adventures. Once you arrive back at Disney’s Contemporary Resort there is one special guest waiting to welcome you to dry land.
Pirates League
Young guests can transform into a pirate, empress, or mermaid at The Pirates League located in Adventure land in Magic Kingdom. Choose from multiple packages for the ultimate Pirate adventure. Once fully dressed receive your unique name to accompany the new look. Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Masters teach the art of navigating the high seas while telling you tales of sunken ships and buried treasure. Once finished you have completed your journey from landlubber to pirate and are ready for the high seas.
Pirates of the Caribbean
Everyone will love the swashbuckling voyage on Pirates of the Caribbean. Join the action and some famous scenes from the movies as you journey to a forgotten time when pirates and privateers ruled the ocean. Board a small ship and swoop down a small rushing waterfall as you begin your trip to the Golden Age of Piracy. By the end of this nine minute cruise everyone will be singing “Yo Ho, Yo Ho (A Pirate’s Life for Me)”. See if you can find sly Captain Jack Sparrow from The Pirates of the Caribbean film series.
