Epcot International Festival of Arts
Enjoy fun concerts, creative thrills, and happy harmonies at the annual festival taking place around Walt Disney’s Epcot theme park from January 14 – February 21, 2022. The celebration immerses guests in art of all forms, from performing, culinary and visual arts. Gaze at wondrous works of art, paintings and chalk art. Treat your taste buds to foods and snacks that are a treat for the eyes as well as the mouth. Guests can also take in musical performances and other performing arts.
Disney on Broadway is a concert serious that features favorite tunes performed by Disney on Broadway stars. Every two weeks a different star will be welcomed to the stage. This is the first year that songs from legendary Disney musicals will be performed daily. Guests can catch the show at the America Gardens Theatre. Famous artists such as, Arielle Jacobs and Adam Jacobs from Aladdin, Kerry Butler from Beauty and the Beast, Robert Creighton from Frozen, and Kissy Simmons from the Lion King, are just a few of the performers.
Kids will really get involved in some extra special events geared for them. The Animation Academy allows them to experience the magic of Disney animation. It is an informative class that teaches drawling and real Disney artists. Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt takes place around the World Showcase Pavilion. Guests will help Figment learn about art by purchasing a map and stickers from the Pin Central, Disney Traders or World Traveler.
Figment is hiding in famous works of art and once you have found him you can add the right sticker to the map. After completing the map the journey is done and the map can be returned to Disney Traders for a surprise. Everyone will love being a part of the “Hands-On Wall Mural”. By the World Showcase Plaza, everyone can come together and help paint a giant mural. Grab a paintbrush and have fun.
